First the guys discuss more silly expressions than they can shake a stick at. Andy talks about PAX South, and Keith talks about the Alamo Drafthouse. They talk about work projects, and get into a discussion about team play in board games. Keith describes a classic game called Fury of Dracula, Andy talks about the origins of Werewolf, and Keith talks about Yahtzee and Yacht, the game Yahtzee was based on. Keith shares his thoughts on Hidden Figures, and the other types of ketchup. Then they complain about how the changing march of technology (and magic technology) doesn’t impact fictional worlds the way it does in reality. Episode 92: Hail Trackanon!
First, Keith talks about being back in his old home town of Ithaca NY, and the travel nightmare he went through to get there. They discuss quotes they’ve been quoting slightly incorrectly. Andy talks about the newest Fluxx design he just cranked out a prototype for, with the help of his friend Dr. Leila: Anatomy Fluxx. Next they discuss travel plans and upcoming events, including the JoCo Cruise. Turning to media, topics include The OA, the Trackanon episode of Man Seeking Woman, Timeless, This Is Us, and lastly, a very spoilery discussion about the season finale of The Good Place.

Episode 90: Robocopping
First, Keith talks Artificers in D&D and the issues around being a world-builder whose worlds are expanded upon by other designers, who don’t always understand the core concepts of the backstory. Keith also talks about variant rules for Illimat he’s been developing, including solitaire and team play. Andy mentions having seen and loved Hidden Figures, and then gets into a long discussion about Game of Thrones, which he’s finally been starting to absorb. He’s been using a technique called Robocopping, in which a friend watches the show with you, fast-forwarding through most of it, letting you watch just the most interesting parts and summarizing the rest of it for you.
Episode 89: Call Me Ben
Andy & Keith talk about how they spent their holidays, then they discuss various issues about running RPGs. Then they talk about movies, including La La Land, Moana, Rogue One, Backstroke of the West, and the Vader Sessions. Lastly, Andy describes in depth the Star Wars movie he’d like to see, which would be about the life story of Obi-Wan Kenobi.
Episode 88: Dungeons & Tunnels
First Andy & Keith talk about how they spent their holidays. Then they yammer about watching TV, and videos on the internet, and watching shows via streaming. They discuss an imaginary show called “Designated Survivor Survivor”. Then they get into a deep conversation about RPGs, the different player styles they attract, and a home-brew system Andy & Keith invented long ago called Dungeons & Tunnels. Then they talk about how hyperspace makes chase scenes in space nonsensical. Lastly, they get into a spoiler-laden discussion about Designated Survivor.

Episode 86: Fun with Math and Chemistry!
Keith talks about a new role-playing system Will Hindmarch is developing, and a scenario called Homecoming which Keith wrote for this system. Keith also talks about something else he’s working on, called Dungeon Dogs. Then Andy talks about the design for Chemistry Fluxx and a couple of cards he’s finding problematic. He also mentions a last minute addition to Math Fluxx called Plan C. Lastly they talk about the series Timeless, including some ranting by Andy about the Apollo-11 episode.
Episode 83: Big Chubble in College Park
This week Keith’s in town, so they guys record the episode in Andy’s Game Room, where they spend some time discussing random vintage games in Andy’s collection. Andy gives Keith a box of cold-fusion Chubble which leads to yet another discussion about time travel. Keith talks about The Magicians and notes some of the differences between the book and the series. Keith talks about watching the series Space Race, causing Andy to talk about spaceflight history, in particular project Vanguard and race to launch the first satellite. Moving on to movies, they talk a little about Fantastic Beasts, Zootopia, the Secret Life of Pets, and Doctor Strange. Then they each answer the question, what’s your favorite Marvel movie?
Episode 82: They [actually don’t] Have a Plan
Andy talks about the reviews Pyramid Arcade is starting to get, and laments minor errors that have emerged on one of the gameboards inside. But mostly the guys just discuss media, in particular, a couple of long discussions about Westworld. Other topics include a couple of series from the BBC (Space Race and Black Mirror) and a new Beatles album from an alternate dimension, called Everyday Chemistry.
Episode 80: Andy’s in Chubble
Illimat is the first subject of note, since Keith’s Kickstarter is just about to close. Andy talks about his recent West Coast trip, in particular discussing visits to local institutions including Portland’s numerous McMenamins locations, and LA’s Time Travel Mart, where Andy bought a mysterious product imported from the future called Chubble. Media subjects include Timeless, Westworld, and The Good Place.
Episode 79: The People’s Duel
This week Andy stops in Portland (during his big West Coast Trip) to visit Keith. Andy tells Keith how the trip has been so far, and Keith tells Andy about the Illimat Kickstarter he’s right in the middle of. Other topics include dog parks, Pyramid Arcade, the musical Hamilton, and dueling with paintball guns. Lastly they discuss several new shows: Timeless, Westworld, and Luke Cage.
